6th grade

I need to write more on this. something I don't get to see you as much as I want. so I want to write you all these notes.

man do I love you so much.

watching you grow up is the coolest thing and the most incredible thing I have ever seen in my entire life. Its unbelievable. One day you were just a baby in my areas, doing nothing by sleeping and now you are 12 in the 7th grade with straight A's wow.

I wanted to tell you about when I was your age. I can remember 2 things about being in 6th grade. My school was called White Oak Middle school. This was in Maryland which is close to Washington DC. this is where Maryland is

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Maryland/@38.7833705,-79.4802785,7z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x89b64debe9f190df:0xf2af37657655f6b1!8m2!3d39.0457549!4d-76.6412712

anyway. in the 6th grade all the kids got to go to this sleep away camp called Out Door Education. but it was shorten to OutDoor Ed.

so fro 3 days you go to this camp like 3 hours away and sleep in cabins and do activities.

All my friends were going, but I really just liked to be at home, and play with my brothers. So I really didn't wanna go, but I pretended I wanted to. So my parents let me go.

This was the first time I ever slept somewhere else besides my house. We were allowed to do sleepovers when I was your age. My parents let people sleep over our house, but we could never sleep over there house. cause PEOPLE ARE WEIRD!

Anyway so I was at this camp and I hate it. I'll never forget at night. I couldn't sleep. and I cried every night. I missed my mom so much. I just hated that she wasn't there. and I cried every night.

sometimes that memory scares me about you, cause me and you are A LOT alike. you like to write things, and your dad writes everything!. I feel its easier to right sometimes, but I had to work at talking to people and sharing how I feel.

so sometimes I worry about you when you are at sleepovers. I know how kids can be. I know how mean they can be, and I want you to be safe. There were no phones back then, so I couldn't text my mom or dad.

I love that you can call us anytime.

I love you so much and I want you to be safe.

I'll tell you about my second 6th grade memory tomorrow :)

love you
